King James Bible
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

For as long as mankind started the journey to find inside what is and to feel it, there has always been signs to direct a soul along a path filled with wonders and choice.

In a metaphoric way there are stop signs, speed limit signs, warning signs. There are signs announcing construction and signs of destruction. There are open, closed, and of course exit signs.

Pick a belief, even the religion of atheism, all have signs.

To use the word thief brings to mind the sign of a criminal. A thief is one who has the ability to enter and steal. Is the Lord a thief?

Words have meanings open to interpretation. ‘To make love’ is nothing more than ‘To fuck’ for some people. ‘That’s sick!’ is a way of saying a situation is horrible for some and a way of saying is wonderful for others.

Signs. For some ‘Stop’ means go. For some ‘No’ means yes.

Confusing? Not really and this is because the mind chooses to define every breathing moment anyway the minds ‘sees’ fit.

Words themselves are not confusing. They are like the world, an illusion. Words are a means of communication. Words are not dangerous UNLESS those that believe in words give power to such.

To prove the power of words, the simple question is now asked: How do you describe or define the words of God when you hear them? (this question causes problems for some people and why? is it because some people say that God does not speak to them?)

For the criminal mind there is a common denominator when it comes to words. Many killers say “My dog told me to kill,” or they are described by people who know them that they were seen ‘talking’ to something. What they are hearing are the words of evil. Evil is very easy to hear. “Fuck you!” Words easy to hear and easy to understand. Words not from God.

Getting back to the question: How do you describe or defined the words of God?

God talks to everyone and everything. The birds in the sky, the fish in the sea. God talks and we all listen. What we hear though we decide to define the conversation the way WE decide.

Words. I’m great at using words as a ‘diarrhea’ of expression. My choice. My words are not needed as for thousands of years humans have been listening to God. They have been great in choosing life or death for themselves and others. Good. Evil. This is one of the reasons some people choose to not talk. To take a vow of silence. They understand that oftentimes ‘words’ get in the way of the language of God.

Again, how do you describe or defined the words of God?

Some say the Koran, or Bible, or scrolls, or whatever form of communication pertaining to a higher power are inspired at the least or the actual words of God at the most. All well and good. A painting is not the person who created the work of art yet is directly associated by the artist.

The Lord will come as a thief in night and is already here. So stealthy the Lord is inside you and standing next to you, yet like a good thief most are unaware. It is night. This world for all the bright light of the Sun is truly in the darkness. For me the question is, why don’t people listen and see for themselves?

i actually play poker with God. i have said it before many times and will continue to do so. As for the words of God, Gods talks more than anything i’ve ever heard before. Constant. Asleep. Alive. Dead. Waiting to be born. Waiting to die. Eternal. Words more beautiful than any music ever created. More soft than the down feathers of a goose. More hard then the illusion of a polished diamond.

As for the world burning up in entirety, it already has been consumed. This world IS the fire and flames. When your body ceases to embrace this illusion your soul will get to hear what is blasting me beyond any human words.

This journey we all are on is indeed a cluttered and sign filled path. It does not matter if one is a cannibal from Borneo or the Pope, all are naked, all hear God speak, all have the choice to listen and learn or shield their souls and rebel.

Once, many years ago, a special person told me what i already knew…Listen.

God speaks constantly and God listens.

And in the words of Billy Joel,

We didn’t start the fire
It was always burning
Since the world’s been turning
We didn’t start the fire
No, we didn’t light it
But we tried to fight it
