Pain.

Sorrow.

Hurt.

Nepal recently experienced a great tragedy given by a mother so many call, nature.

Mother nature used the simple burden of gravity to release years of accumulated water and ice. Together with bits of a mountain thrusting high into the air the bits all fell into a river and blocked it firmly with a dam until the will of the flowing water overcame the dam and then a huge torrent flowed freely to meet and deal with every thing in the path.

Tragedy. Thousands of human lives taken. Kindness given as relief is shuttled in to render what aid is possible while watching the river for the potential of another tragic event.

Tragedy come in many forms. Today and below is a link to another tragedy.

Yes, another tragedy among the millions occurring constantly. The tragedy of losing a loved one. The tragedy of learning the pending hardship of cancer. So many tragedies the article above is barely worthy of mention as to most hardened by tragedy, the armor is thick.

Now, i am definitely an advocate for life and Life and all that is good. And in saying so the article about a mother casting her child into a refuse bin is really not a tragedy. No, the mother did what she did and while others can look at this as a tragedy, maybe even feel outrage, that is not the truth of the tragedy for this event.

The real tragedy of abortion, or murder, or suicide, or killing is really not the actions or the results.

What is tragic is the thought that for the many thousands of years of life and the billions of humans who were/are/and will be, is the thoughts the humans choose as they make choices. It is as easy to make the ‘right’ choice as it is the ‘wrong’ and yet humans still refuse to throw away the cave, the survival of the self-clinging to an illusion of what will do it’s best to destroy them. (case in point: mother nature) For all the advances humans have made in the realms of science, spirituality, arts, medicine, philosophy… they are no more advanced in thoughts of tragedy then millions of years ago, (at least on this world)

Thus it is the thoughts. Simple thoughts brought to manifest. The thoughts leading to the wrong choices made so willingly, even so far as to try and justify with love/logic. This is the current tragedy burdening humanity.
