Today in a current place called, America, it is a day called, Mothers Day. A day where females who give birth or raise a child bears the title, mother.

No man/male can be a mother, nor should they as that is what Fathers Day is for.

What a beautiful thing it is to witness the role of mothers. Hard working. Loving. Teachers. A woman who continues the creation of love and to give example of what love truly is.

A mother is worthy of having a day set aside to celebrate them.

For those women who have had or will have an abortion, they too wear the title mother and in their way will always carry the knowledge that their womb held the creation of God’s love. A knowledge that can never be erased.

Now, as to the dedication to mothers everywhere, a simple prayer many in this world say to a mother who gave birth to a very special child in Bethlehem, a child called, Jesus.

‘Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.’
