Confidence is a nice mask. It is a perfect coverup for the illusion that ‘everything’ is going the way ‘we’ want…
Is confidence good? Well, I suppose a doctor cutting up a patient to fix a disease should have confidence, but that confidence comes from experience and training. So for a doctor they may have confidence in trying to help but are insecure in other facets of life such as talking to someone who disagrees with them.
So to answer yet another useless wordpress prompt, the question is ambiguous and misleading. Confidence does not exist in any single human as a total package. Now for a group, or ‘group’ then the most confident people/group I know are those who embrace evil…
You can disagree and I could give a flying fuck about that. My confidence in such a matter is far and above very very very well learned, and earned (much like a well trained doctor with experience)
Those who ‘try’ to love, or love God, or kittens, or puppies… They have some confidence but are mostly insecure as there is the lure of the dark side. Yet those who steal, lie, cheat, kill, hate…They ‘they’ have utmost confidence and are not afraid to hurt, maim, kill, slander, steal, destroy, rape, ravage, mutilate… Evil is VERY confident.
And thus the surprise: Humans who strive for complete confidence make very good evil entities while those who place their entire Life complete with doubts, insecurity and yes, confidence on the plate of God, they are the best humans can be. Those people who find failure, setbacks, pain, angst, and yet still try to be with God, THEY are the hope and give me confidence for the future of humanity
