On the television of yesteryear, there were the many game shows with many various names. Names such as, ‘Wheel of Fortune,” or “The Price is Right.”

“Alright Alice, you can choose curtain number one or two or three. Would you like to take your $5000 now or bet it all for what’s behind door number four?” Bob Barker was a slick salesman. A happy and joyous man.

“Oh Bob! I’m so excited.” (the crowd yells, ‘Open the door. Go for the door!’)

Confused, Alice stutters and says to Bob, “I’ll bet it all on door number four.”

“Alrighty Alice,” and with a flourish of his hand the door opened…

It seems that it gets more and more complicated to bring happiness that is joyful to yourself and others. So many now strive to bring joy to their lives at the expense of others. A selfish society full of those seeking happiness while making other peoples lives as miserable as can be.

In this story behind door number four a man existed named, Bud Durock . He was a genuine prick. A man whose actions were the complete reflection of a jackass. Oh he did complicated and simple things to bring joy to his life. Killing kittens was easy. So very easy to throw them into a bucket and watch their pathetic attempts to be joyful with life.

It was a bit harder to kill those happy people he did not like but when his sick plans unfolded he was down right ecstatic.

Bud Durock was indeed a joyful prick. So much pain to others. So much sorrow. Even in his final joyful act of burning down a church where twenty parishioners were burned to death, even then he felt a giddy happiness, until a small meteorite fell from the heavens and smashed his skull.

Door number four. A door where behind was the scene of Bud having his head obliterated and his remains buried where worms would consume his body for eternity. Over and over and over. An eternal endurance of having to accept the fact that his final act of burning a church and dying made Satan feel absolutely wonderful.

And, as an added bonus, his death and sorrow brought joy to an entire world of people trying to bring whatever simple joy to their lives.

I wonder what’s behind door number One?
