Punch Cards

Written by: A time clock

There is a way for the human brain to bypass the normal channels of physics and science of mankind. To understand what the open eyes cannot see or understand.

In the dream there exist a metaphor world where some have to be careful or else be consumed by what really is….

When a situation occurs while ‘awake’ there are some who will discuss fate or destiny. Some will throw in luck and chance to muddy the pot. Though stirring further there becomes the weighted anchor which so many cling to like a life jacket worn in folly as the Titanic sank; pulling those hapless fools to their (insert one: fate/destiny/chance/luck)

“Where do we come from?” or “Where do we go?” or “Why do I exist?” or “Did I forget the chicken in the oven?” Said while playing a game of softball miles from the oven.

What do you believe in? Everyone has an opinion as to ‘why?’. Everyone thinks differently about concepts such as religion with all of it heavens and hells. Good/bad. Vallhalla. Paradise. Hades. Words as many as there are for what occupies those wide awake.

You are not born by luck or chance, nor is it your fate or destiny to be born. You were created a very long time ago, or if you want to imagine, you are a time card among an infinite pile of punch cards. Pristine. Clean. New. You even smelled fresh. Your card was waiting to be punched and here you are now or will be or have been…Only now, another document of the dreams…You are a passport. You have been a passport, you will be a passport, you have been a passport.

Enough on the metaphor as some probably are thinking this is my drinking night and I’ve begun; soon, not yet as the piles of time cards have accumulated and today drove me slightly bonkers, well, that and a touch of the mind.

Again, in case i have not said it enough, time does not exist. Everything exists. EVERY moment, it is only in the lower dimensions that a fence or corral is needed to contain the thoughts or else everything would truly learn the true definition of unbridled chaos. (a little chaos does have some benefits.)

Try this: Take a piece of paper and throw it out your window. Watch it’s journey. Before throwing take pause and think with your eyes closed about what will happen when you release it. Will a breeze come and take it for a journey? Will the paper blow back inside? It will do something and did that something do what you thought it would do?

As a follow up, do you think you can control what that piece of paper will do when released? Yes? No?

Anyway, alcohol awaits and i did what was needed. If today you are ‘born’ then happy birthday. If today you ‘die’ then happy birthday.

Now the real important question: Gin, vodka, or whiskey?
