A good day.

Smoky smoke and smoking. Fires burning everywhere. People trying to burn down the government. Trump getting booed at the world cup. A good day?

Everyday the feet hit the floor and a corgi barks is a good day, the rest is just a distraction.

The old days of getting the news by reading a papers are gone, replaced with instant ‘news’ or entertainment, or sorrow, or whatever whomever wants what they will.

Yep. Everyday is a good day. The best part is to be able to realize how good we have it.

Actually believe that a bad day exists because we want to believe it is bad. Just learned about cancer? Bad? Not for the cancer, the cancer is having a good day killing the person with cancer. And the person with cancer definitely thinks it’s a bad day and why? Is it because the cancer is an announcement of a mandatory life style change? That pain and sorrow is on the way?

Very few can understand what I’m writing. Understandable. Amazing how so many people believe that others cannot understand the pain and sorrow of a bad day unless they too have experienced.

No cancer yet and don’t care as i will always have a good day. Always have, always will, though it was an experiment to decide to embrace the thoughts, “I’m having a bad day… Today is horrible, tomorrow will be horrible, yesterday was horrible.”

This leads to where i want to go with this. Jesus died on a cross, crucified and killed by the people of Earth. A most horrible day you say? Or was it. To die at the hands of people with no power. To suffer. And yet because of a ‘bad’ day, a world was saved. An entire world was given Life.

Now, a question: Some of you don’t believe one fucking word written today. Some believe in God, some don’t, some think everyday is something good or bad. Good. For those though that adhere to the christian Bible of some sort or another (seems to constantly change in translation though never in the story. The story never will change.)

If you could relate to a biblical character, whom would that be? Judas? Jesus? Moses? Pontious Pilot? Pick anyone you think your life style is inline with.

My choice is easy, I associate with the criminal that was killed next to Jesus. That guy had good days and bad days. You could say his death day was a horrible day yet it was his best day. The day he died he told Jesus, “I belong here for what I’ve done, you do not belong here. You are innocent.”

That man had the knowledge to realize true goodness and thus had a fantastic day. A day where he was born.

In the physical realm it is easy to become comfortable with all the ‘good’ things. Food. Sex. Money. Almost impossible to try and live with pain, horror, evil… Yet, that is because this world is this way. Eat or be eaten. Kill or be killed. Strive. Struggle. Survive.

Anyway, today i had a great day. Tomorrow will be even better.
