There are people who have lived on this planet that are much the opposite of what I am. Jesus first comes to mind and then others such as St. Francis. For my moment in this world, Mother Teresa was most indeed one of the better forms of humanity.
If you have never heard about her it makes for a good study into what the potential is for a person. If you have heard of her and have disparaging comments about her it just means you’re upholding the real ignorance of your species – good job. Now if you have heard of her and know what she really was, isn’t it nice that a woman like her enriched this planet?
Compassion for others comes hard and easy. It is easy to feel compassion and hard to carry that feeling forward with actions. So many say, “I’d like to help,” only to have their minds drift quickly to another endeavor.
Mother Teresa was human, of this there is no doubt. She was not a monster yet being human she was ignorant and full of fault yet she still strove to emulate the perfect human that was not ignorant, not a monster, rather the perfection of what humanity can be: Jesus.
This monsters heart loves Mother Teresa and is glad to have felt her presence. This monster also knows there are many others like her on this world, silently trying to be better for the betterment of humanity with actions, thoughts, and prayers going against the grain of ignorance. To help those in need without thought of recognition, reward, or anything other than to give compassion and aid to their fellow man/woman. To people like them and to those like Jesus, St. Francis and Mother Teresa, it shows the evolution is going well and that there is hope for humanity, but this monster knows with absolute certainty – the success of hope for the entire world is far, far, into the worlds future, but there is time, lots and lots of time.

Hope
To have found, known, and lost the feeling
To realize what is only to know what is,
is real.
So easy to say empty words full of real meaning
Well intentions
Proud thoughts
Ambitions left with a yawning pit…
So easy to find fault and see reason
A world filled with that which seems to never change –
Anger, rage, evil…
Can hope really exist?
The answer shown and given by many in the past, present and future
David Bowie was an excellent artist. He even did well in some of the movies he appeared in. The troll king he portrayed was excellent.
The following song is one I enjoy.
As I sit here listening to it for the millionth time a poem comes to mind that will be written regarding a tooth that broke in this shells mouth today. Most interesting, about 1/5 of the tooth cracked off like an iceberg calving a large chunk of ice.
It did not hurt at first but now it throbs as the root nerve is exposed. Makes a person wonder what they did in the old days…oh wait, they pulled out the tooth, or tried. Sometimes some of the root remains in the gum to cause infection, pain, and death.
It will be interesting to see if the doc pulls the remains or caps the tooth. I think a chainsaw would do nicely, though that might mess up this ugly mug even more so than it is.

Toothy Humor
Crack goes the enamel as the body falls into pieces
Once strong, the next broken and weak
If only and then played back in the mind,
again and again.
Chew lightly instead of loudly
Run the food through a metal detector or have a taste tester taste
Wonder if it was some kind of revenge.
It is of no matter as the body does not matter
as it decomposes
leaving only dry bones, a skull, and broken teeth to show a world
Pope Francis speaks during an audience with diplomats accredited to the Holy See for the traditional exchange of New Year greetings, at the Vatican, Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. (Alberto Pizzoli/Pool Photo via AP)
Pope Francis came out Monday and condemned radical Islamist attacks as “homicidal madness” and urged political authorities to seek peace not only for their own citizens, but for the world.
In remarks to the Vatican diplomatic corps, Francis said, “Sadly, we are conscious that even today, religious experience, rather than fostering openness to others, can be used at times as a pretext for rejection, marginalization and violence,” adding:
I think particularly of the fundamentalist-inspired terrorism that in the past year has also reaped numerous victims throughout the world: in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Egypt, France, Germany, Jordan, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, the United States of America, Tunisia and Turkey. These are vile acts that use children to kill, as in Nigeria, or target people at prayer, as in the Coptic Cathedral of Cairo, or travelers or workers, as in Brussels, or passers-by in the streets of cities like Nice and Berlin, or simply people celebrating the arrival of the new year, as in Istanbul.
“We are dealing with a homicidal madness which misuses God’s name in order to disseminate death, in a play for domination and power,” he continued.
Francis appealed to “all religious authorities to join in reaffirming unequivocally that one can never kill in God’s name.”
“Fundamentalist terrorism is the fruit of a profound spiritual poverty, and often is linked to significant social poverty,” he said. “It can only be fully defeated with the joint contribution of religious and political leaders.”
Francis said religious authorities are obliged to teach “love of neighbor,” while political authorities should safeguard the right to religious freedom and to recognize “religion’s positive and constructive contribution to the building of a civil society.”
The pope urged political leaders to prevent conditions that can serve as “fertile terrain for the spread of forms of fundamentalism,” through “social policies aimed at combating poverty,” policies that reflect “the importance of the family” and “a major investment in the areas of education and culture.”
Francis urged leaders to work for peace not just in war-torn parts of the world, but also in Europe, which he said is “experiencing a decisive moment in its history” as it grapples with terrorist attacks and the refugee crisis and as it comes to terms with Britain’s departure from the European Union.
Citing Europe’s reunification following World War II, Francis said the continent is “called to rediscover its proper identity” as “a unique opportunity for stability, peace and solidarity between peoples.”
Francis concluded that peace is “a gift, a challenge and a commitment:”
Reading this morning what has been known since humanity gained awareness of self: Ignorance.
There is much power in thought, in words, in action. What is done in the heat of the moment is either quickly forgotten, fed upon, or embraced only to eventually be quickly forgotten or changed…
It is good humanity strives to evolve as evolve it will. Is it bad that humanity embraces it’s ignorance…
(silence)
How would you answer the last question? With defiance? With peaceful thoughts that the writer is itself, ignorant?
History is filled with unlimited amounts of examples pertaining to humanities ignorance in all areas: Religion, God, Love, Hate, War, Science…Everything that humanity is is and does contain a balanced/unbalanced evolutionary layers of ignorance and truth.
What is truth?
(silence. birds fly by and a fog bank touches the hillside)
What is your answer?
The answer is: Whatever it is you embrace at the moment and moments are fleeting. Your answer may change with time or remain the same.Does that make it ‘real’ truth or only truth that you make real? To know real truth one must deny ignorance and sadly for all humans, ignorance is a part of the body as much as legs, arms, head, and soul…
Recently I read a poem from a poet pertaining to his version of truth written as his mind saw it.Was he ‘right’ or ‘wrong’? Is the Pope ‘right’ or ‘wrong’? Is the Catholic church ‘right’ or ‘wrong’? And this confession, what is complicated about it?
(silence as silence is truth)
Confession done with the fullness and awareness of mind, no matter what the situation, no matter the age, situation, setting, religion or lack of, no matter the species, gender, color, no matter…Is Truth or truth.
Below is the Popes prayer followed by comments, comments reflective and representative of the current level of ignorance by a few of those just living the moment. Sad really, but expected of your species.
My confession?
I am a monster through and through.
This, then, is my prayerful hope for the year just begun: that our countries and their peoples may find increased opportunities to work together in building true peace. For its part, the Holy See, and the Secretariat of State in particular, will always be ready to cooperate with those committed to ending current conflicts and to offer support and hope to all who suffer.

Was listening to NPR yesterday; some islamic dude talking about the danger of islamic radicalisation. The usual tripe: unemployment, poverty, no hope….. And I wanted to yell at him through the radio:
The reason they can do this is because your religion does not teach that it is wrong to murder people.
So, once they’ve fallen through all these stages; no job…., no money….. no hope….. When they get to the bottom, there’s no underlying, foundational teaching from your religion that tells them that MURDER IS WRONG. When they get to the bottom, there’s nothing to stop them.
Every other religion in the world, except islam, teaches that it is wrong to murder.
And to think that islam is the religion that liberals love.

Pope Francis is right about all the killing in the name of God it’s got to stop, But that’s wishful thinking, due to the fact that, killing in the name of God has been going on for centuries. But isis and others CAN be brought down. Hopefully more.

I like what the Pope said about terrorism, but what is his position on all of the Muslim refugees flooding Europe? Apparently youthful looking men as old as 30 are claiming to be under 18, so as to get automatic acceptance as unaccompanied children.

I think the Pope final read the end of the Bible and is now putting the Refugees and 2 and 2 together.
He might want to back track on his Refugee stance.

It uses a god’s name, not THE God’s name. I don’t like the context put forth here. What they worship is the arab moon god who was based on a Babylonian god of the same name. That is historical fact, not opinion.

Good Points by the Pope.
p.s. does anyone find it interesting that the ’terror’ has been going on for years,
and in early 2017 (after a U.S. election, and the recent outcome), the current Pope makes that evidentiary public comment?
(perhaps bo’$ untold stranglehold has been loosened up at the Vatican …and it might speak up, more truly and holy. It just did.
An update to the encyclical Laudato Si, could be enlightening and refreshing too (sans parts of paragraph 23:…. ’A very solid scientific consensus indicates that we are presently witnessing a disturbing warming of the climatic system. In recent decades this warming has been accompanied by a constant rise in the sea level and, it would appear, by an increase of extreme weather events”…..)
imho
Yes, we need to respect the Pope and yes, like other humans he is not perfect and the Popes’ infallibility pertains to understanding and conveying to us Christs’ understanding’s. (not pol. science)

As Christians we are not told to ’work for peace’, but to keep the peace granted us from God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Of course it begins with believing on Jesus as Lord and embracing His Resurrection. If one is willing to accept that ”peace” means a cessation of strife between two entities, then the Christian is at peace with God spiritually at the point of the new birth. Practically, peace is achieved when Christians endeavor ’keep the unity in the bond of peace.’ True peace is not available with Islam as they reject Jesus as Lord, nor do they believe that God 1) has a Son, let alone the Son of God, Nor do they accept 2) God raised Jesus from the dead. There can be no true accord with them; tolerance is the best one can hope for, but then, how tolerant is radical Islam lately?
Peace for too many people means that you get to capitulate to their demands and/or views. The recent election is an excellent example of this, given the Michael Moore’s of the country and their willingness to accept the election results.

Glad the Pope finally called this ’ movement ’ was it is : homicidal madness wrapping itself in a flag of Islam. The videos that these sick savages use to ’ recruit ’ would only attract psychos to their so-called ’ cause .’ That in itself proves what this jihadi movement really is : a Satanic , Dysfunctional Movement of Homicidal Psychos.

Quite certain, reforming to an International Financial system is not part of this Pope’s job description. It becomes more apparent why the good Pope Benedict ”resigned”, the globalists needed a new face sympathetic to their agenda.

The Pope encouraged open borders to Europe. The result is hundreds of dead Christians, countless women injured, economic devastation and thousands drowning trying to get to Europe to get welfare.
I respect Catholics and their right to practice their religion. The Pope has set governmental and political policies, which I don’t like.

The Hills Have Eyes
So many live lives secure with their individual secrets, to hide from spouse, lover, enemy, friends.
Masks worn made of flesh and bone hiding whatever emotion is wanting privacy, to prevent ridicule, judgement or pain.
A girl places toilet paper to show the world larger breasts
A boy covers his pimples with skin tone paint
A woman hides the bruises her lover inflicts
A man runs from his emotions so a world cannot see his tears.
A monster see’s everything. It see’s the heart of the sun, the sweat from the moon. It see’s the tree’s gossip and hears the geese lie. It tastes dreams and throws stars in play. Yet a monster will choose if it will be heard, felt and seen.
Hello world, it’s me, a monster few will ever believe or know.
A few do though as it is what it is…
A Rock knows
The fire and ice knows
God knows
The wind spends so much time laughing about it you’d swear the winds nostrils would blow snot, if it could.
And the hills? Yes, even the hills can see.
Nothing of this world can hide when living in this world, not even me.
Have you ever looked at a pile of shit…literally, a pile of excrement from whatever animal and had a positive idea as to the possibility of what it could be used for? If you’re normal the answer is a definite, “No!” If you’re like me you see something very different than the pile, you see what it was is and will be… I always find a use for something, anything, as everything has multiple uses.
Today I stopped at Pacific Steel in Lewiston Idaho. It is a fun place filled with so many stories it is impossible to even start to write them. I was there for scrap brass and copper, two of my favorite metals.
For me, Copper is #1. There is absolutely no better metal on this planet than copper. This is followed by the cousins of copper – brass and bronze. Now most would say, “Gold is the best, or silver, or platinum,” but they would be wrong on so many levels I won’t even go there.
It was slim pickings today as the scrap price for metal is down and people are waiting for the prices to go back up, but I always find something and find I did. A piece of copper sheeting and two grades of copper wire. Along with that I found two solid brass lamps.
This is what they ‘looked’ like…
This is what they now look like.
I sawed them up into usable pieces. Inside were large solid steel washers used to fool the consumer into thinking they were buying a very heavy solid brass lamp. Ha! Smart Chinese.
The steel washers will be used in one of my many projects and the two threaded light rods will be used on two lamps I’ll build out of either rock, wood, or both. The brass will now be made into jewelry.
The cost today was ten pounds of brass/$18.50 and three pounds of copper/$9.75. For me just the large steel washers and threaded light rods were worth the cost.
Fun day today indeed. Visited with Sophie an ‘almost’ four-year old and who loved to eat ice cubes out of her soda cup.
The ice which formed during the ice storm last night was truly an adventure to drive on, as was the slush covered highway.
Yes, another good day to live and a great find of junk which is now treasure.
Tonight is a moment of light as the rock softens, what a ride.
People don’t like stink bugs in general because they stink. I however like the stink bugs living in my home unlike the ones that lived in the home in Montana.
Stink bug is a general word used for insects that emit strong odors, especially when excited or squished.
In Montana the stink bugs were black beetles and they had a very pungent stink, not really pleasant at all whereas the stink bugs here in my home have a green liquid that smells, not bad.
This is what they look like. They are known by the official name: Helmeted Squash bug
They are a tough and hardy bug, I’ve even seen them crawling on the cold snow.
They fly through the air, which is okay but flying bugs don’t really excite me rather how they walk is what is fun to see.
Many the minutes I’ve spent watching this squash bug walk on my table. They remind me of robots and you won’t believe me but we talk and they actually possess a bit of cognitive knowledge.
When I grab one by the antenna they definitely don’t like it and will immediately emit a strong smell. I usually start laughing as I throw them outside.
Yes, the simple things in life are what make it worth living and for me the Helmeted little bastard is one such thing.
Also, they are inspirational for a poem.

Stink Bug
Stilted while tilted; walking-the-walk; a helmeted bug tip toeing the scene.
Slow and surely they seem…
To be and see and hear, they know many things.
Durable tough but still filled with mortality.
Stepped on, squashed, flattened, they will stink
Dried out they still look alive, and would remain so for eternity.
Thrown in the air they instantly sprout wings, and curse…
Oh my how they swear, “Fuck, shit, bastard…”
Words directed at me.
Yet they land soon and upon stilted legs walking a tilted scene
they soon again are at peace
and usually the bastards will look at me,
and smile
but sometimes they look disappointed that I don’t hate their stink.
Went fishing and the temp was -23. Perch did not want nuthin to do with my hook but the trout did so it was pretty nice, though soaking in the hot waters of the Spring was much better.
Talked with a woman who moved to a nearby town a year ago and she was very intelligent and the conversation was nice. We talked about her four daughters, her career at Albertson’s, her training as a physical therapist, her desire to go to New Zealand. It was nice to talk to an open soul.
What was very interesting was how she tried to brave the hot waters but few people can take extreme cold or extreme heat…being a monster I greatly enjoy both. Lately I enjoy soaking in the water and then go lay in the snow where people can’t see me, for about 8 – 10 minutes. Fire and ice are truly my friends.
Yes it was a good day and after the lady departed I thought about people who like to climb mountains, or mountain bike in extreme climes, or do whatever it is people like to achieve in their lives.
I’m boring. I’ve done so many things nobody would believe even a fraction of what I’ve been blessed to have done, yet there is one thing I would like to do some day – walk the entire length of the Great Wall of China.
The Great Wall is over 5,000 miles long and is steeped in history. It would be a definite ‘fun’ thing to do but I’ll save it for another lifetime, this one is busy enough.
Yes, today was another good day to live. When people read this in the future, I hope your day was good also and that you have a dream of achieving something you desire no matter how small or grand.
Today I got to visit with two wonderful ladies. The first was Beth, a nurse practitioner for the local VA clinic. She conducted my annual physical and in my opinion is better than a doctor. What makes her great is her soul, it glows and you can see she is truly a healer. You should see what the soul of a killer looks like…It glows too, but not in a peaceful way.
Beth went over my labs and we ‘chit chatted’. She told me about her dead grandmother who lived in Kentucky and how she wished she could have asked her more questions about hill folk medicine. I told her about the Foxfire books. The books are something you should learn about if you’re interested in a part now lost in this world.
Yes, it was great having a physical done by her and I complimented on how I appreciated her work.
After Beth I was sitting in a waiting room at the hospital and noticed another glowing soul, this time coming from a woman born in 1923. I watched as she checked in with the receptionist. I watched how she walked and looked around her world. She was alert and very bright.
When this women sat down I struck up a conversation with her by starting with: So, 94 years old, I bet you have seen a lot.
She smiled and we talked and laughed as if we had known each other for a very long time (in a way, we have…) I learned she was born in Colorado and hated fishing. She had lived in many places and now lived in Grangeville Idaho.
She told me about one of her relatives who had lived in Alaska for 30 years after have had worked in a uranium mine in New Mexico where he received severe lung damage and skin damage.
She told me how he had fallen off a roof in Alaska and a crazy neighbor would come over, look at him, and walk off. Finally on the third day the neighbor walked to a telephone and made an anonymous call to the authorities. She said her relative had a broken back and legs and that it was a miracle he had survived. As a footnote, the man moved out of Alaska to finally finish his life in a vet home where he lived for five years before dying.
We talked of moose, of dead animals on the highway, of how her son was on the hood wiping the window as she drove them through a snow storm… It was wonderful.
Today was indeed a good day to live and to have had the privilege of talking to two good souls was indeed, a pleasure.
As I left the waiting room I asked her name of which I will not share but I will share that she said, “I will see you again…” and I said, yes, yes you will.
