Humanity slips away

A sliver here, a wedge there

Today a city block faded far past any memory of reality.

I don’t exist much anymore

Fading

Sliding into obscurity

Two young women smiled as they watched for reaction: One already growing cancer inside, the other destined for the impact of speed.

Blocks growing

Growing bigger each and every passing
