reason as to timing

so many years ago the moment arrived and fulfilled

 

so many years ago and yet a question remains, why?

 

what has changed in the human heart as it devours innocence and self?

something?

nothing?

a lot?

…

did it happen years ago or today or tomorrow?

sounding much like babble

or illness

or troubles…

 

it happened years ago when the moment arrived and was fulfilled

so strong and real

leaving so many questions as to why

with angst and joy leaving the reasons why

for tomorrow beyond tomorrows so far beyond it is

as if

it will never arrive.
