Ever meet one? A dragon.

A lot written about dragons. A lot of cartoons, movies, books, even the Chinese have the year of the dragon.

So, what is a dragon? A lizard? A fire breathing lizard? A gold loving entity?

Ha!

Dragons exist… Oh yes, they surely do. Ever watch dragons fight? Probably not as it is not healthy for the environment that dragons do battle in.

Testy. Now that is a good word to describe dragons. Methodical is another. Strange, another.

You wouldn’t believe me about what dragons truly are, but at least they are inspirational.

For in form they exist

only to satisfy the ocular, the moment…

 

Able to soar, to swim, to crawl, to sleep…

always with one eye

awake.

 

Aloof,  yes, for such the mundane is so boooooring

Secretive? For sure, as who would believe them?

 

Blood is the secret weapon of the Dragon

simple really

but only…

 

That they come and stay

they are

coming…

 

Be careful though, as in their cunning

in their traditions and ways

they can leave one crying and wailing

or

in shock of

create a World where wonder is King

and joy is just a beginning…
