Feeling the wonderful wind blow through the open window and hug the environment called, home. Most wonderful indeed.
Lots in the news lately. Of course, with the modern world of instant news, there will always be no shortage of news And another, ‘of course’ is the fact the news usually is of the bad variety… People killing people. People killing puppies. Airplane crashes. Rapes. Robberies. Political antics of the bad sort…
Seems like people must like all the bad news as that is what the news outlets push.
Here, where I live, everyone hates everyone. In a way, this place is no different than any other town, county, state, country, world. That is, I mean, any world where there are sons and daughters of Adam and Eve.
Every group, every society, religion, government… each and every one not only seems either to embrace, or totally accept the love of hate, but to relish in the misery it provides.
All around me, in all directions the winds blow; anger, hate, slander, lies, deceit… People waving at others while muttering profanities under their breath.
Sure, some people act nice for a brief spell but the human condition over rides all, thus, anger, hate, etc… are the ultimate masters for what people choose to be lead by.
Show a man compassion and he will thank you with bragging and self-importance. Show a woman love and she will tear your heart out. Now, show a dog what should be shared with fellow humans; a kind word, a belly rub (Yah yah yeah… rubbing a humans belly… wait a second…maybe that would be good too!) treat a dog nicely and they will be your best friend.
This reminds me of something I recently read: “Plato is my friend, Aristotle is my friend, but truth is my best friend.” I like that.
It is and would be an interesting study as to why humans do so love to hate others, even to the degree of killing them emotionally, spiritually, or even physically.
Religious folks would say, “Evil.” Scientists would say “Genetics” or ” Environmental conditions,” or “Society”. Whatever, everyone has their reasons on why they are right and those they hate, are wrong…
People of the Human clan on Earth, are a hateful lot.
Yes, there are those moments of amazing periods of love and self-sacrifice, but those are trodden upon almost immediately by those who hate such.
I find the life of Jesus truly inspiring. His story is most alien for this world. Alien is a good word as there has been nothing like him before his life or after his moment was finished. I suppose his life style is what all people of all races and genders should strive for but that is almost like saying sharks should aspire to be vegetarians.
I enjoy watching children at play, learning how to fully be hateful and corrupt. There are those moments where one child will share a toy with another or share in the pain of another child hurt. Of course, those moments are short lived as their true nature usually evolves quickly and enters the rest of the world of hate.
Just thoughts of my many years of study. That is all I have on my hands… time. Lots and lots of damned time. And in all that time I have yet to be proven wrong regarding the hate humanity has for just about everything that exists. They especially hate other humans.
In all those years of study, I’ve tried to love others only to be fiercely rejected and burned. My first kiss to a girl in first grade ended with a slap and shove (I was taught a kiss is an expression of love) The experiences go on and on.
It all does not matter though as on a personal level, I truly know what Love is. And that is a great gift to feel… As a result, I’ve come to understand a bit on how Jesus felt about mankind and this world.
For those who do not believe in Jesus or his teachings, that is fine. To each their own. But for me, for a crowd to embrace a criminal named, Barabbas. For Barabbas to be released and to crucify Jesus makes perfect and logical sense based on personal studies of those around me.
There is a lot to the ‘meaning of life’. Much philosophy. Much science. Much history… But for me, those simple words of Jesus uttering his final words while being crucified by the past, present and future humanity… they truly represent the past, present and future of humanity… “Forgive them Father, they know not what they do…”

Choice
A fresh bag of chips with bacon and cheese dip?
or
A friend of high social means?
Why not choose between fresh cow crap and steak…
it would be after all, the same thing.
People at first, may smile and relate
only to show their insides
or as the true saying goes…
“Familiarity breeds contempt”
A child needs guidance
An adult needs guidance
The human species needs guidance…
And so, knowing the futility of such an attempt
I choose a fresh bag of chips with bacon and cheese dip…Pizza… Ice cream…
At least it is possible to be somewhat comfortable while the rest choose,
shit.
