Currently watching Fox and CNN (for perspective, amazing how two networks see things so differently). CNN is giving much face time to Dennis Rodman and Fox is giving much face time to talking heads.
Can you believe that the North Korean ‘hater of America’ is actually shaking hands and meeting with the American ‘make America great again’.
People hate Pres Trump. People hate Pres Obama. Bottom line: People hate. And can you blame people for hating? I mean, look at what happens when you try love. Love is very painful. Just ask Jesus who got crucified and killed for loving people. Or ask any man or woman who has fallen in love only to have the pain of reality set in. So, I suppose hate is an easy choice for many, even if it destroys that person.
Peace is an in-between between love and hate. Hate cannot control peace and peace is not love but gets along very well with love. I love peace. I hate hate.
Yes, watching Trump and Kim is inspiring. Not hopeful as I don’t believe in hope but definitely inspiring.

To take a life is so easy, so fast, so final
To make a life is hard, so very hard and trying
Turn the other cheek, it has been said
An eye for an eye, said by others…
If stones, spears, bombs or bullets do not fly through the air even while the soldiers squint with anger in their eyes…
Could there be peace?
If handshakes, smiles, treaties, contracts are made with deceit laying in heart. Deception leading towards war…
Could there be peace?
If tears and pain; bloodied battlefield followed by famine, disease, death…Lamentations and screams…
Could there be peace?
(silence)
What is your answer?
Yes?
No?
The real answer is peace never disappears or is absent. It is everywhere we choose to see and be it.
