Hello. Today is the 28th of August 2017. Today would still be today if it were called by any other number or word. Today could be XX29 of the Tor moment. Today could be June 42, 30887. Doesn’t really matter though as today was and did exist.

What else existed today? For some it was work related. Some died. Some babies were born to enrich the population. Forest fires burned. Storms raged. It rained over there while over there, it was drought. So much occurred today it is impossible to write about it all. But today. Here. The body of the sky spoke.

It is hard to explain why the words written speak of the sky as having a body but that is the way my mind sees it.

When you were little, did you lay on your back on the ground and stare up at the sky? Most probably, you did. Your body lay on the body of the earth and looked up at the body of the sky.

And as you lay there as a child, or even now; looking upward, do you feel anything? Do you see more than color and cloud? Even now, do you see figures in the clouds? A bird, a bug, a balloon, a face… So many imagine the cloud shapes as the body of something else. Coincidence?

Why would one look at a puffy cloud and see a dragon flying or the outline of an ice cream cone. Not a question mark added as it really is not a question, more so a statement of fact. People look at everything in life and see it for what it is.

Today, I felt the sky. I felt it before I looked up at it. And when I looked up and out, I really felt it. It was not the barometric pressure nor the humidity index. It was not the heat or power of the sun. It was not the air laden with particulate from forest fires near and far. It was the body of the sky.

When your body aches or you cut it, you feel it. Your body feels much. Some of the feelings are painful, some are full of pleasure. Whatever it is, your body responds.

Today, I felt the body of the sky and then I listened as the sky spoke. The sky speaks with wind and rain. It speaks with calm, with anger, with silence, with many of what your body speaks. So too, the earth. So too, the animals.

What was felt and still lingers, felt ominous.  It made me take notice and wonder.

If you take the time and look to the sky, stop and listen. Try and see, to feel. Bodies attract each other. Even in the laws of physics, mass attracts mass. And what you may see and feel will make your body feel even more connected than it already is.
