David Bowie was an excellent artist. He even did well in some of the movies he appeared in. The troll king he portrayed was excellent.

The following song is one I enjoy.

 

As I sit here listening to it for the millionth time a poem comes to mind that will be written regarding a tooth that broke in this shells mouth today. Most interesting, about 1/5 of the tooth cracked off like an iceberg calving a large chunk of ice.

It did not hurt at first but now it throbs as the root nerve is exposed. Makes a person wonder what they did in the old days…oh wait, they pulled out the tooth, or tried. Sometimes some of the root remains in the gum to cause infection, pain, and death.

It will be interesting to see if the doc pulls the remains or caps the tooth. I think a chainsaw would do nicely, though that might mess up this ugly mug even more so than it is.

Crack goes the enamel as the body falls into pieces

Once strong, the next broken and weak

If only and then played back in the mind,

again and again.

 

Chew lightly instead of loudly

Run the food through a metal detector or have a taste tester taste

Wonder if it was some kind of revenge.

 

It is of no matter as the body does not matter

as it decomposes

leaving only dry bones, a skull, and broken teeth to show a world

another shells remains.
