Spain

Two things on my mind lately. Spain and Ted Nugent.

Spain is a country, Ted Nugent is a rock star who hunts with a bow and arrow.

Funny how the mind works, and dream… Always the dream.

She was brown. Skin like a well tanned beach goer only natural even in the shade. Her name was not important. Her age was not important. Nothing really important about her other than her uncanny manners resembling a cat.

Laying naked upon his chest she was barely  considered to be heavy. Her body was very thin, her breasts very small, and she could have very well been considered a cat as her chest slowing moved up and down as her slumber reminded the man of a purr.

The two had recently been engaged in an activity. It could have been a discussion about politics or it could have been a passionate bout of lovemaking. That too, was not important.

What is important in life? What an interesting question.

Some say God. Some say family. Some say work. Some say sex. Some say… whatever it is that some say. For her and him, it was the moment where she slept and he dreamed.

His dreams varied and changed as the moments and times changed. At this moment, a beautiful naked woman from Spain lay upon his chest much like a cat.

Her skin was covered in small, fine hairs. Her hair on the head was long and soft. So very, very soft.

The man reached his right hand up and caressed the hair and it made him smile.

Certain things are important to many people in many forms and ways. For this couple, this moment was important. A moment where nothing else in the world existed.

Gun (g-u-n)

If one hears the derogatory word, nigger, spoken in anger by a person with white skin, the outrage is instant. The word, nigger, is a power word of control for those who control who or what can utter such a word.

If one sees and hears a speech from David Hogg, and then see how he raises his clenched fist into the air… All while ranting about guns… the first thought I had was of Nazi propaganda before and during WWII. The second thought concerned communist China and Russia.

Guns. Hammers. Knifes. Poison. Car. Baseball bat… Which of these words offend you the most? None? All? Or maybe the first four because of the harm they can do to life?

Here is the real truth about the hot topic: Gun Control. The two words are not meant to be used together. People afraid of and/or against gun ownership really want to say, Gun Ban, Gun Elimination. And what they really want is what the majority of humans want… Control.

Every person alive controls to some degree, their environment around them. Even prisoners behind bars control their environment.

The real truth is: Humans crave, covet, desire, need, act upon, the word c-o-n-t-r-o-l.

If it were not guns it would be something else. Look at gluten? Look at cigarettes? Look at anything to include morality, social conditioning, politics… Every person/group posturing for the position of power.

It is so apparent in the viewing of David Hogg and his words followed by the support of the crowds who want to jump onto the bandwagon of power… It is not gun control he craves, no, far from it, it is the power of attention he is now in the midst of.

Selective Censorship

Watching those funny looking English politicians in England as they shout, shove, and move about in the House of Commons, seems like chaos. Actually a very civilized way to govern. They are doing what they want to express.

Also funny are those people throughout history that stand atop a box and shout their opinions and beliefs to one and all, yet refuse to let others have that same stance. Well, mostly. Some periods of time allowed such.

Of course, depending on who or what was in power, speaking opinions and beliefs could get you arrested or killed.

Today, via the aid of technology, everyone has the chance to stand on a box and bloviate  on any topic that exists. Politics. Science. Fantasy. Fiction.

Just look at the news websites for example. Read any article and you will see it followed by posters responding about the article (or how to get rich in some computer scam). A ‘free-for-all’.

Interesting to note that for all the freedom the modern technology provides for, ‘freedom of expression’ there are those who will use the freedom to stifle other peoples expression.

A few days ago a blog site slandered and lied about me in an article. They wrote how I sprayed weed chemical intentionally into a child’s and dogs eye, all the while smiling about it. They went on to say other lies and so I responded in the box they provided to leave replies.

Now, they wrote another one today and this time when trying to reply I found out they had made the website deny me. I laughed. This was a perfect example of how people want to use the power/freedom of expression to get their point of ‘whatever’ out…yet deny any opposing opinion.

I could really care less as that is what insecure people, bullies, and especially liars, do. They hide and cower behind the protection of society. Today, those same people who bully try to cling to the mantle of being a ‘victim’.

Sad and funny. But, it seems to be getting worse. Facebook, a corporation with huge influence allows and panders to groups it ‘deems’ acceptable (to their way of thinking) yet quell, squash, or outright ban, those groups they do not agree with. Today in the news, Facebook stock sunk 7% because they banned a group that ‘helped’ Trump in the election. Ha! How childish it all is.

Thumb-sucking little crybabies. Safe places. Safe words. Security blankets… and yet, freedom to tear down and burn a flag. Sue bakeries that don’t bake cakes based on religious choices.

I prefer when everyone is allowed to speak and yet know that human nature is not really good at responsibility and thus inevitably, war always breaks out…

Daylight and Time

Spring forward, Fall back… A saying to help remember the folly of trying to alter time.

Tomorrow morning at this time it will be an hour forward. 0730 becomes 0830. People who forgot to change their clocks tonight will sleep blissfully through whatever time the clock shows, and others will be late for church or work or whatever they hold dear.

China is a vast area of territory spanning many lines of longitude and yet they have only one time.

The United States spans many lines of longitude and have many different readings of time. And if you look at the time-lines on a map, some time is dictated by state lines, rivers, railroad tracks… whatever whimsical fancy those in charge of time deemed to be appropriate.

As to the daylight savings time, some states do not participate, most do, and most people asked wonder why the heck it still exists.

Funny though, if you ask people, why does daylights savings exist? You’ll hear the standard, “I don’t know,” to so many other answers with the one answer dealing about farming and energy savings rising to the top.

The real answer though, as to why daylights savings time is practiced is because that is what people do. They follow and complain. They change and tweak. They are discontent in so much they seek to make their respective lives even more complex and miserable.

People are strange. One ‘minute’ trying to find and cling to happiness, while using the other ‘minute’ to make a huge mess out of their lives.

Maybe for such a primitive species it would be best if humans just lived with time and not try to change it? Appointments made and broken. Birth. Death. For humans, time is an equalizer. A mechanism fitting and comfortable/uncomfortable for a species trying to find itself.

Now, as for other species, time has no sway or influence. A billion years, a trillion years, a second… Meaningless.

For me, time is an amusement. A passing fancy. A story in a book. A book. It can be read over and over and over. It can be stopped or increased to a speed where countless universes flower, prosper and fade… all in a snap of the fingers.

Time can be reviewed, lived over, and changed. For people like Hawkings, his attempts are noble but his entrapment by his own mind has made him a slave to time, and once a slave to time it becomes almost impossible to break those chains.

So, tonight, change your clocks. Perform your daily time related rituals. And as your seconds, minutes, weeks, months, years, pass and fade. You will at least be able to say you served your time.

Writing Freedom

Ever read something you don’t like? Of course you have. So, what did you do about it? Did you write the author and tell them they should not write? Maybe you got angry or mad.

The reactions all vary depending upon the person. For me, when reading something I don’t like is I stop reading it. Simple.

Seems like everyone is angry these days. All trying to express their own opinions/beliefs and damn those who don’t ‘agree’.

I suppose it is not appropriate to say something vulgar in a church just as it probably is not appropriate to write, “God loves you,” to a satanic worshiping forum. Or, is it?

What is appropriate to write, and when? Where? Why?

This leads me to this thought. If you’re a writer, it is always appropriate to write what you want when you want and how you want.

I do love freedom. In the United States it does appear that we enjoy some freedoms and I suppose we do when compared to such countries as North Korea or Turkey but the truth is, no one is really free.

I’m not free from having this body age and die. I’m not free from paying taxes or ‘obeying’ the laws the collective government has imposed upon me. I’m not free in many ways. Actually, not even free to write publicly, even here on wordpress as someone may become offended and thus causing wordpress to take action and suspend me from having the ‘freedom’ to write…

Fucked up? Definitely. But I will write as I see fit, even if not one person reading, likes or enjoys what I write.

Why will I write what, how, and when I want as I want?

Because that makes me happy, and NO ONE will take that freedom from me.

war, a word with what will?

will war impact your life? if you served in armed conflict then the answer already is, yes. it has impacted those veterans directly and will do so the rest of their lives.

will war impact your life if you are of any gender, age, race, even if sheltered from the direct harm of the battlefield? the answer is yes.

many advocate peace and strive to abolish war, yet with the will of what means? those who advocate peace usually do so from a position of war even if they believe their actions are peaceful…

the battles of will, a war powerful in its own right. a two-year old striving to master his/her environment using the force of will they all possess at that age. years later, the battlefield changes, the tactics change, it all changes as the body matures and learns.

this is not the war i wish to write about tonight. rather, the war i talk about is a horrific war coming and sadly it is what you all want. your will, will be done.

for those clinging to the protection of what society has set up as ‘victims’, you’ll soon learn to wear a new cloak of being a victim.

there will be the lamenting so prevalent in the past history of war, there will be death, destruction, hate, disease, blame, sorrow, finger pointing…

it really does not matter as  it is the will of what you want. no blame from me to you as war is a mechanism I’m very familiar with. for me, war is a learning tool; brutal true but so is truth.

there is no doubt that each and every human would (and does) choose war over peace. humans are warriors to the very core of the marrow centered in their bones.

and, as with all wars, much will be learned, quickly to be forgotten so to prepare for the next war… and, on, and on, and on, until one day there will be a day that none today can even imagine.

for those of you clinging to the notion of salvation, of rapture, of religious justification… it is amusing to watch the antics, much like watching a lunatic try to escape a straight jacket in the war room padded so softly. you are in a position no ‘better’ or safe than the most vile and destructive maniac that has ever lived or will possess life.

this writing is no prediction of the future as the future has already arrived… many times… and it will arrive many times more. many, many, times more. you all are in a war and while some know, many of you live the fantasy of safety.

it is tiring to see the futility of a species so bent with the will of self-destruction. Abortion. Murder. Hate. Fancy words to represent the simple definition of, death. you all are born into life and all of you will forfeit your life for death, you all choose death and will continue to do so.

God? interesting. God is. Does. Wills. and so? again, you all choose war over peace. each and every one of you. What if you chose God? What would happen? it does not matter to me as the answer is simple, you will find out if you choose God, even though you still will die as this world of war dictates, but will you really die?

i do not tender discussion as to opinion, statement of worldly facts, or anything other than to know with absolute certainty that you all are going to die and in the process, embrace war until your last heart beat or last breath.

what i am and how it is all so obvious is meaningless to your life other than to point out how futile the hold this planet has on the overall value of what is true and what is not.

in my world, there is no war, no death, nothing but what is… really important, it is a world of Life.

Gun Violence

Children killing children. Bang. Bang. Bang. And then, instantly the ‘blame’ game resumes.

Interesting how everyone seeks to blame ‘something’. Lately, any time a rifle or pistol is used to take life, there are those who ‘blame’ the weapon.

It is easy to grandstand or take a stand of, “I know the answer to the problem,” and then with bellicose, announce to the world what I know. Sorta like me typing here talking about gun violence.

So, tonight I’m going to use questions and let the reader think of the answer:

  1. What are the gun mortality statistics regarding children using rifles or pistols to take other children’s lives going back 100 years?
  2. Of those children taking other children’s lives with gun’s, how many of them involved shootings at school?
  3. What does the data show in relation to the above data and the time video games involving extreme violence were introduced?
  4. Again, using the data from #1 and #2, could there also be a correlation with the access of data available via the internet?
  5. What role does social networking around the world have in reacting to the violence incurred by children killing children with guns?
  6. Is it possible there is a change in a child’s thought process when using the modern technology?

I could ask endless questions to lead the reader to think of what most already have made their minds up on regarding gun violence but in today’s arena, it would be useless.

There are those so sure that getting rid of every gun in the world would solve the problem they could not be swayed from their thoughts anymore than those who think every man, woman and child should have access to guns.

There are reasons for reasons. Questions for questions. Opinions upon opinions. Facts upon billions of facts.

For me, the main cause of killing in any form is not because of video games, or pistols, or rifles, or the NRA. It is not because of political, religious, social or any other form of reason other than one simple fact. Humans are natural born killers. Each and human is born with the natural ability to kill. They are also born with the natural ability to find peace. The choice of which natural ability they are born with is then open to what environment they are raised and live in with slight modifications of behavior due to medical (physical or mental) conditions each may experience.

Love

So much written about such simple letters used from the alphabet. L. O. V. E. or if one prefers, o,l,e,v.

I’ve written about this word many times in the past, and much like so many other words, it has so many meanings it finally ends up being meaningless.

Gay used to mean happy, now the word defines sexual preferences. Love is no different.

So, how do words apply to the meaning they are assigned for the moment? I guess it just depends on who is using the words to those listening to the words.

‘I love you,’ could just as well mean, ‘I hate you’, and vice versa. Language is indeed a strange mechanism of communication.

Guess what it all boils down to is not words and their meanings, as really there is no meaning to any word. Any word can mean absolutely anything a person wants it to represent.

We all have our various opinions and ideas on what a word should define. The word, love is no different.

For me, actions mean much more than any words. A person could smile at me while using words of whatever meaning. They could say so much pleasantries and it all would be meaningless if the actions of hate were imposed.

So, words really have no meaning. None. They are merely tools of the moment. A means of opportunity used to convey some kind of bizarre communication that could be as it was meant to be or a complete cloud of smoke.

The next time someone says something to you, believe it or not. Humans are experts in deceit. A growling dog however, growling and preparing to tear your arm off is much more honest in actions and communication than most all people could ever be.

I love that about the language of all around us, it is open, honest, and easy to understand. Human language though… Yikes!
